RME Associates, Inc. was established as a Power Plant Equipment Supplier in 1992. Our focus remains in the steam and power generation markets, specializing in mechanical-engineered Power Generation Equipment and Services for both capital and after-market projects, as well as parts for all of the products we represent. Our primary customers include the electric power utilities, IPPs, Waste-to-Energy (W-T-E) plants, Phosphate Fertilizer plants and Sugar Mills. On the utility side, we call on all the gas-fired, coal-fired, simple-cycle and combined-cycle CT plants. Some of the utilities include NextEra Energy/Florida Power & Light, Duke Energy, Tampa Electric Company, Seminole Electric Cooperative, Lakeland Electric, Orlando Utilities Commission, Jacksonville Electric Authority, Gulf Power, City of Gainesville, City of Tallahassee, KUA and FMPA. The major IPPs include NorthernStar Generation and General Electric. The W-T-E market is dominated by Covanta Energy. Mosaic dominates the phosphate fertilizer industry.

 
Our outside sales staff consists of Andy Patton and myself, with Renee Kipp handling our inside sales, parts sales, and sales administration. Our primary sales territory is the entire state of Florida. We also handle some accounts in Trinidad for some of our principals. 

 
In partnership with our principals, we provide New Equipment & Aftermarket Parts to our customers across Florida. Many of our principals are leaders in their respective markets and our average length of partnership across our principals is TWENTY years; something we are very proud of!
